compliments slips and in a finance magazine. The 2nd address
is in the form of [e-mail]. This
address offers existing customers an alternative method to
ask technical questions about various subjects including VAT
and TAX returns, and General accounting advise. Any
messages sent to either of these addresses are redirected to
1stAccounts existing mail address or any Internet mail
address any where in the world. This provided 1stAccounts a
cost effective solution, rather than paying for 2 full
Internet accounts when all they needed was the mail use.

This allows an individual or Business to advertise/hand out
a mail address which any one in the world can send a blank
message to. The person sending a message to this address is
automatically sent back a message with a file attached to it.

What this file contains is entirely up to you or your
company. The file could  contain your stock/price list,
company news, payment terms, a program demo or General
information. This file can be up updated/modified as many
times as you like. You could even use it as a quote-page or
special offers page and change it on a daily bases.

Lets say you want to give anyone in the world the
opportunity to receive your stock list via e-mail. You have
exported your stock list to text format so that any editor
or word processing package can be used to view/print your
listing. A requester simply sends a blank message to the
designated mail address, which could be in the form of

stock list with no interaction from your self what so ever.

Add-On 3: Internet Multi File Information Server.
*************************************************

This works on the same Principle as Add-On 2: Internet File
Information Server, however you are given a storage
allowances on the FTP Mail Server which you can use to store
files of your choice. This means with in your allowance you
can have several or more files available for requesting, and
which are totally controlled by you or your company.

You will be provided with a central number to dial,
connection software and an easy many system which allows you
to delete, add or modify files in your directory, or you may
wish us to administrate your files. Here is an example to help
understand an applicant for this service. A company called
Music Lovers Ltd run a busy high street shop and mail order
system for their customers. They have an allowance of 7.5MB
on the FTP Mail Server. In their directory they store the
following files; products.txt, company.txt, clearanc.txt,
discount.txt, yamaha.001, yamaha.002, roland.001,
roaland.002, fender.001, fender.002, demo.exe and
filelist.ftp.

The product.lst contains their current product listing in
text format. Company.txt contains payment and contact
information. All the files with numbers at the end are
technical specifications for each product. The demo.exe is a
small multi media presentation about learning and enjoying
music, and finally the filelist.ftp file which contains a
list of other files that can be requested and a description
for each of  the files. This file simply acts as a catalogue
for other files, and can be thought of the same concept as a
fax back system. Music Lovers Ltd can advertise/hand out the
mail address and instruction on how to request 1 or more
files, or just on how to request the filelist.ftp file which
contains other files that can be requested and instructions
on how this is accomplished.

Lets say a  customer wants to automatically receive
product.txt, fender.001, filelist.frp and the clearenc.txt
file, they would simply compile as message follows;

FROM: Interested Customer
Subject: Any thing you like (not relevant).

Main Message Body:

The Get keyword tells the FTP Mail server to look for any
files with the following name in the Music Lovers directory.
The Interested customer is then sent back 4 e-mail messages
each with a file attached. The request process for files is
a total automated procedure and needs no interaction from
you or your company what so ever.

Add-On 4: Internet Group Mail Listings.
***************************************

This service allows an individual or company to
advertise/Hand out a single e-mail address which any one in
the world who has access to Internet mail, can send a
message adding or removing them selves to and from the Group-
List. All you need to do is send one message to the Group-
List mail address, and every one who has added them selves to
the group receives that message.

Here is an example of a company putting this service to use;
The company is called Executive Finance and offers various
financial services to individuals and companies including,
investment policies, financial advise etc. Executive follow
the top one hundred blue chips companies share prices. At the
end of the day they update a spreadsheet with all the
closing prices for the share companies. They realised this
information was very useful for individuals and small
companies. As a result Executive now compile the top 100
closing prices into a text document and at 5.30pm they send
it to the e-mail Group-List address. Everyone who added them
selves to this group is also sent the top one hundred blue
chip closing prices.

What do the Executive Finance get out of passing on this
information to group members?
In this example it is used as a effective marketing tool
allowing the Finance company to build customer confidence,
and get the opportunity to advertise small insertions into
the daily posting, telling customers about other services
they offer. Depending on how you advertise the service,
potentially hundreds if not thousands of people could be
viewing your company details.

Alternatively Executive Finance could charge each subscriber
a small yearly fee for the service. They would simply not
advertise the Mail Group address, and instead advertise
the service and add members to the list only when the they
have paid a fee. The customer will never no the Mail Group
address as it is not included any where in the message. If
the finance company took this method and built up a group
list of 200 customers who were each charged 20 Pound Sterling a year,
this would bring in revenue of 4,000 on top or normal business
for simply sharing information they already had.

You do not have to post a message to the group at regular
intervals, it's entirely up to you how you advertise and how
often you provide the information to your customers.
